The Book of Proverbs. Readings of Great Lent

The Book of Proverbs of Solomon is a source of wisdom and inspiration. In the early decades of Christianity, people who were being baptized and entering the Church (and the most important preparation took place before Easter) studied the basics... of moral life precisely from this book. Even today, during the intense days of Great Lent, a passage from the moral navigator of wise Solomon is read daily in the Church. However, the language of the Book of Proverbs is aphoristic, and some expressions can only be properly understood by being well acquainted with the context. Three modern priests offer to reflect on the Book of Proverbs together, providing deep, detailed comments that resonate with today's reader of the ancient book.
