Magic Carpet

Vladislav Petrovich Krapivin is a wonderful writer who became a classic during his lifetime, the holder of numerous literary awards and the founder of the International Children's Literary Prize named after him. The writer's works have been translated into many... languages of the world, some of them have been adapted for film, and the most complete collection of his works consists of 50 volumes.
In the story "Magic Carpet," the writer seems to return to the past, becoming a ten-year-old boy who wanders the streets of his native city with his best friend and even flies over it on a magic carpet. This is a tale about childhood, which every child has. In the end, the real miracle that the heroes of the story discover is not a magical carpet, but their willingness to help others and the strong friendship that lasts throughout their lives.
