My First Wimmelbook. Visiting the Princesses

This children's book is simply incredible, there has never been anything like it in our online bookstore.  What is so "unusual" about this book? Well, let's start with the fact that it has an unusual, unfamiliar title. Yes, but what is so unusual... about the title of a book about charming princesses? A children's book about princesses can be found in the assortment of most children's publishers.  It lies in the theme. The unusual aspect is the method of presenting information, which is now rightfully called an unusual word: “wimmelbook,” meaning a book teeming with details. The uniqueness of this approach lies in the various “details” in the pictures - objects, elements of landscapes, interiors, as well as characters scattered across one large illustration. In this case, the characters are princesses at a ball, in a royal hall, in palace gardens and rooms. The princesses are not alone but accompanied by their princes, court ladies, and beloved pets.  They all arrived from all corners of a great magical kingdom: to the royal ball; walking among the scents of roses and silver fountains;spending time together in the cozy chambers of the princesses; for games in the castle grounds with a babbling brook, green meadows, gazebos, and numerous paths surrounded by curly trees and whimsical bridges.  The book contains 8 colorful spreads. On each one, there are illustrations "teeming" with details, resembling the paintings of old European masters. What we initially referred to as “unusualness” is actually the main characteristic feature, the very “highlight” that makes children's books called wimmelbook valuable.  It is not just an image of a large number of objects and characters, but an “image” of several different plots fitting within one book spread.What exactly these plots are, our young readers will come up with themselves. There can be countless variations of such little stories and tales.This type of “reading” of wimmelbooks greatly helps develop creative thinking. But not only that! It also helps with logical thinking.After all, when a child describes the picture in the book in their own words, they must apply the skills of distinguishing parts from the whole, and to create a complete picture from individual details. With this book, many engaging developmental tasks can be devised. For example: Count all the princesses, princes, and their pets;Guess a character from the crowned individual. And describe it to the other participants of the game so that they can guess who it is and find it in the picture.
