Nine Lives 6 'U'

The book you are holding consists of nine stories – one for each month of the school year. Each story has its own author. Each story has its own hero. But all the heroes study in the same class. As is customary among classmates, they befriend, quarrel, make up, solve riddles, learn to understand each other – in a word, they grow up. The authors of this narrative are also classmates. They came to study in a children's and adolescent literature course at the CWS School of Literary Craft. From discussions, discoveries, and the desire to tell something important, this book was born. Each story is the author's graduation work. But there were only eight classmates, while there are nine months in the school year. So the masters (teachers) prepared a surprise for their class: they asked the renowned writer Dina Sabitova to write the last story. And this last story turned the collection of different tales into a completed narrative.
