Pyotr Pavlovich Yershov wrote The Humpbacked Horse at the age of eighteen. He loved folk tales since childhood and dreamed of writing his own. The poem about a horse with two humps and a yard-long ears was highly appreciated by Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin himself. And for nearly two hundred years, The Humpbacked Horse has remained one of the favorite tales for children and adults. The tale by P. P.
