Library of Adventures of Ascanio

The plot is based on the memoirs of the renowned Italian sculptor of the 16th century, Benvenuto Cellini. Together with his students, he travels to Paris and, with the help of King Francis I, obtains the Small Yale Castle, where... he sets up a workshop. The Parisian prévôt, the owner of the castle, is unhappy with this decision; moreover, his daughter falls in love with the young Ascanio, Benvenuto's favorite student. In turn, the king's favorite, the Duchess d'Étampes, becomes enamored with him, ready to betray for her beloved. Intricate relationships and love triangles, unexpected plot twists - everything is here that we love about the books of Alexandre Dumas.
