Felix Salten was born in Budapest but spent almost his entire life in Vienna. In this city, he tried his hand at literature, and with some success - his articles, reviews, and plays were noted by readers. However, the greatest... success the writer achieved came after the publication of the fairy tale "Bambi," written in 1923 after his travels in the Alps. Soon the book was translated into 30 languages, with the English version translated by John Galsworthy. After the release of the animated film "Bambi" by Walt Disney Studios, the story of the little fawn became known to almost every child in the world.
Day by day, little Bambi gets acquainted with the dense forest and its inhabitants. His mother helps him to know who is a friend and who is an enemy and tells him that a jumping blade of grass is just a grasshopper, and a flying flower is a butterfly.
