On her birthday, the mermaid meets the prince's ship, which she saves in a storm. Days pass, and the lovesick mermaid decides to gain legs to be with the prince. The sea witch agrees to grant her wish in exchange for her voice but warns: if the prince does not love the mermaid more than life itself, she will turn into foam…
