French Lessons

The stories of the famous Russian writer V. G. Rasputin are often based on events from his personal biography. His heroes find themselves in various, sometimes very difficult situations, each with their own life universities. In childhood, both the bad... and the good are perceived much more sharply and vividly. At the same time, the difficulties that a teenager encounters forge their character and help develop such qualities as determination, endurance, a sense of measure, pride, and willpower. They teach one to draw the right lesson for themselves and choose the right path in life, leading to "conscience, faith, and beauty".
The collection features two wonderful stories by V. G. Rasputin dedicated to the process of a person's formation in childhood: "French Lessons" and "Unexpectedly".
