Clara and 11 Grandmothers

Clara is 9 years old and she lives with her grandfather, a chimney sweep. One day he goes to the hospital, and thus begins Clara's journey through the "grandmothers." Each of them has her own idea of what a girl should be: Clara wears pink ruffles and goes hiking in the Czech mountains, participates in an animal protection campaign, learns to play the guitar, bakes pies, and spends the night in a cemetery. She misses her grandfather very much and tells him everything in her letters. Where will these adventures lead Clara? Will her grandfather return to her?
