The guy wants to return to the Night Bazaar, but endless obstacles — chases, betrayals, prison, and the king's fury — prevent him from finding an open passage to the magical world. Ali does everything she can to help her friend return home, but where is her own home — in the palace with her brother or with Kaz in the world where she was allowed only once?
