The Horse with a Pink Mane

Viktor Astafyev is known for his patriotic works, filled with love for the great and small Motherland.
His largely autobiographical stories, published by the Omega publishing house in the "School Library" series, convey memories of a bright and happy time of... rural childhood, despite the difficult times and complex life circumstances. Filled with faith in humanity and its moral strength, they feature realistic portrayals of folk characters and the atmosphere of that time, with a special warmth in the narrative tone, and are dedicated to the theme of the growing generation.
