The Case of Yevseika. Tales

The book includes some of the most famous fairy tales by the outstanding writer Maxim Gorky: "Misha", "The Little Sparrow", "Ivanushka the Fool", "The Case of Yevseika". The heroes of these tales – the boy Yevseika, the curious little sparrow, the kind but not very clever Ivanushka, and the aspiring writer Misha – are very similar to modern children. In addition, Gorky's works, like intermediaries, convey to children diverse knowledge about the surrounding world. Gorky himself believed that books for the very young should be simple, understandable, and most importantly, teach kindness.
