The Adventures of Hamster Sigismund

When we find ourselves in a new unfamiliar environment, it often seems uncomfortable and unfriendly at first. This happened to the hamster Sigismund: one beautiful morning he was directly transported in the claws of a hungry eagle from his native steppe to a wild forest. Huge trees, unknown berries and herbs, unfamiliar animals that seem to be hostile to the outsider... And somewhere far away is his cozy warm burrow. Yes, it’s enough to feel down! But help comes to the hamster in the form of a hedgehog named Athanasius. The hedgehog helps him settle in the new place, teaches him how to grow cabbage and go mushroom picking, and treats him to delicious raspberries. In various amusing and sometimes dangerous stories, Sigismund meets other inhabitants of the forest. They dissuade him from returning to the steppe and help him set up a new home. And now Sigismund begins to think that there is no place better than the forest — for here live friends!
