It's Hard to Be Kind. Stories of Things, People, and Beasts

These stories were once created by Lyudmila Ulitskaya for her children, — and many years later, her grandchildren enjoyed them too. They learned about an old tram that dreams of the sea, about a vegetarian Spider who prefers strawberries over flies, about a Tadpole that becomes a Frog but doesn’t forget its old friends.
These "tales" will teach the youngest readers not to be afraid to dream and not to depend on prejudices, while reminding adults that being kind is actually not difficult at all — no matter what is happening around them.
