Inserts - puzzles for toddlers are excellent as a developmental toy for children from 3 years old under parental supervision. All parts have... rounded edges, making them safe for children. By assembling picture halves, the toddler trains logic, attention, and perseverance, as well as, using contour puzzles - thinking and imagination. Large puzzles train fine motor skills and coordination. The educational game improves memory. The developing puzzle game broadens horizons. 
When the toddler is just learning colors and shapes, you can simply place the game board, a card in front of them and suggest that the child place the shapes on their board as shown on the task card. To make the game more engaging, you can encourage the child to press the bell button when they complete the task on the card.
The children's toy can also be used as a sorter.
After learning the shapes and forms, you can complicate the rules and play together for speed and correctness in completing tasks. In this two-player version, the deck of cards should be placed face down in the center of the table. One card is drawn from the deck and both players create a combination of shapes on their game board, as shown in the picture, and press the toy bell. The player who quickly and correctly completes the task takes the card. The one with more cards at the end of the game is declared the winner.
The color of the shapes on the child's game board must fully match the picture on the task card.
