Two Captains (in two volumes)

The famous novel by Russian and Soviet writer Veniamin Kaverin tells the true and captivating story of explorers and travelers, about the loyalty and determination of the main character in search of the missing expedition of Captain Tatarinov.
It all began with accidentally found soggy letters. One day, Sanya Grigoryev and his friend Petka fished a postal worker's bag out of the river, which contained several letters from participants in the polar expedition. Some of them were read, and Sanya memorized everything by heart. It later turned out that the expedition was lost - and due to an amazing turn of events, the entire future life of Alexander would be connected with the vanished expedition and its captain Ivan Tatarinov. He will go through all the heavy trials and dangers, separations and defeats, but will keep the vow made in childhood: "To struggle and seek, to find and not to surrender".

This poignant and inspiring story about courage, love, and friendship is illustrated by young talented artist Peter Lyubaev.
