This book offers an engaging and in-depth introduction to the world of gods and supernatural beings believed in by the ancient Maya and Aztecs. The reconstruction of the mythological beliefs and the pantheon of gods of the ancient Maya is a complex task that historians and archaeologists have been working on for over a hundred years.
