Carpet embroidery is a method of embroidery using a carpet needle, where threads are pushed through the fabric, forming loops on the reverse side.

Sequence of Work

Translate the image from the stencil onto the fabric using light and a pencil. You can place the stencil with the canvas against the window and trace the contours of the drawing.

Thread the needle as described in the instructions.

Hold the needle with the beveled edge in the direction of movement, as shown in the diagram.

Fill one section with threads of a specific color, then the next one, and so on.
