The proposed textbook contains theoretical and practical material on the main sections of grammar (morphology) of the English language. Each of the 19 sections of the textbook includes lexical-grammatical exercises and tests, as well as original texts of popular science,... journalistic, and social-public character, the understanding of which is checked by subsequent test tasks. All exercises are provided with keys.
The theoretical provisions preceding the practical tasks are presented in simple and accessible language, creating favorable conditions for independent study or repetition of material.
The course is aimed at systematizing grammatical skills and skills of correct usage of lexical units in specific speech situations. It can be used for preparation for the Unified State Exam (USE).
The book is intended for students of senior classes of schools and gymnasiums, as well as for students of higher educational institutions wishing to improve their knowledge of the English language.
