In the country of Beiraat, difficult times are unfolding. Sheikh Zafir al-Masud is trying to defend his right to power. While abroad, he meets Lauren Hambe and loses his peace, but by fate's will, he has to leave her. Lauren, believing that Zafir died as a result of the urban unrest, travels to Beiraat to see with her own eyes the country for which Zafir gave his life. There, she unexpectedly encounters... Zafir.
