Сенека. Наставник императора

Once in his youth, the famous Roman philosopher Lucius Annaeus Seneca visited Egypt and by the will of fate met the head of the Essene community - Jews who observed particularly strict rules of life. The head of the community told Seneca about a secret scroll with a prophecy about Armageddon, that is, the end of times, when everyone would have to make a difficult choice between light and darkness. Seneca did not yet know that many years later he would become the tutor of Nero - the emperor whose reign would resemble the end of times. Seneca even forgot about the prophecy, which was a mistake. After all, the relationship between the philosopher and Nero was indeed a choice: Seneca could guide his student toward the light or find himself under Nero's influence and sink into darkness.
The novel by Anatoly Ilyakhov tells us the whole story of the life of Lucius Annaeus Seneca, while the conclusion is left for the reader to make.
