A magical scholarly cat, living in the wondrous land of Lukomorye, told the author about "deeds of long-past days": about mighty heroes, treacherous sorcerers, a kidnapped bride, and loud battles. The book is complemented by elegant and stylish illustrations by Tatyana Muravyova.
