"Holy-Russian Vedas" is a collection of ancient Russian chronicles, songs, and mourning rituals. It has been passed down through the "Golden Chain" of tradition from the "Times of Busov" (4th century AD) to our time. All monuments in this collection are noted in the catalogs of the antiquarian A.I. Sulakadzev from the early 19th century.
It contains tales and songs narrating the ancient Russian kingdom of Ruskolani. It provides a picture of life in Ancient Russia from the times of the ancestors to the 9th century AD. It also tells about the great prince of Rus Alan Busa Beloyar, his sister Lebed, his brother Zlatoyar, and his grandson Boyan. The adaptations of these legends, re-sings of songs and mourning rituals served as the basis for many monuments of ancient Russian literature, poetry, and spiritual songs that are still performed today. The texts (readings of runes in letters) and translations are accompanied by explanations.
