"Letters of the Living Dead," written by American writer, poet, and essayist Elsa Barker (1869–1954), is a classic of esoteric literature, a remarkable testament to the eternity of life and the multidimensionality of existence, the interconnection of different worlds and the possibility of the endless existence of the human soul. The book provides a vivid and imaginative description of the Subtle World, along with simple yet wise advice on how we can improve our being on Earth. The book consists of dictations recorded by E. Barker through automatic writing, received from Mr. "X." — former judge David Patterson Hatch (1846–1912). This edition collects all three parts of the "Letters of the Living Dead": 1) "Letters of the Living Dead" (1914); 2) "Letters of the Living Dead about the War" (1915), and 3) "The Last Letters of the Living Dead" (1917–1918).
