The fairy tale Flint by Andersen tells the story of a lucky soldier who met a witch in the forest, who brought him wealth. In return, she only asked him for a flint from an old hollow, which the soldier was able to take. The flint turned out to be magical and with its help the soldier not only avoided the gallows, but also married the princess.
