The book contains variants of games and tasks with catamino and pentamino pieces. Catamino is a wooden material that can be used in various ways: as building material and as a puzzle for one player and a board game for two. Pentamino generally refers to flat shapes, each consisting of five identical squares. Just as the game "Tetris" uses tetromino pieces, which are made up of 4 squares, we have all variants of shapes made of 5 squares. There are exactly 12 pentamino shapes. You can play catamino and pentamino with children starting from 3-4 years old, but with pentamino, there are tasks of varying difficulty levels, including for adults. The notebook contains many tasks for flat pentamino pieces, but at the end of the notebook, there are several pages with tasks intended for the three-dimensional shapes from the game "catamino." In this game variant, these pieces have volume, so that three-dimensional shapes can be assembled from them, meaning they consist not of squares, but of cubes.
