Before you is a unique Slavic oracle, created by the talented artist and sorceress Zhiva Bozhislavna. Each of the 78 runic cards (koshchuns) represents an author’s interpretation of the calendar signs and symbols, special marks of the ancient Slavs. They... were used to record the times of ripening and harvesting, the months of the year, and holidays. They were also applied for ritual-magical purposes — to predict the future and call upon the help of gods revered in pre-Christian Rus: Makosh, Perun, Veles, and others. Specifically for working with the cards, the author wrote the book "Songs of Runes." It reveals all the secrets of the deck, presents songs-incantations for each koshchun, and describes divination methods.
The cards are systematized based on the traditional Tarot analogy. The deck includes 22 koshchuns of the Great Circle and 56 koshchuns of the Small Circle. The Great Circle carries the knowledge and wisdom of the volkhvs — priests of the Slavs, while the Small Circle encompasses the life and magical experience of ancestors. Thanks to such adaptation, the koshchuns can "speak" to everyone who wishes to receive answers to their questions, advice, or support — regardless of age, nationality, or lifestyle. The deck is also well-suited for spiritual practice and will appeal to those exploring the world and their place in it on a sacred, profound level.
